In my fabric art, I like to capture the diverse beauty of both textures and prints; keeping in mind as well that the cloth as a medium has its own story.
For example, whether the cloth has been collected during world travels or passed down as clippings from fashion designers.
The intricate assembly process, mainly cutting and pasting, is highly meditative. This particular 6-work dragonfly series is extremely dear to me, as the spirit animal represents someone very close to my heart.
